Overview
The RIAM library holds books and journals on music, performing scores, miniature and full scores, orchestral and choral sets and recordings in multiple formats. Electronic resources are also available, and the library offers listening stations, computers and copying facilities.
The library’s Special Collections hold printed music of historical interest from the 18th and 19th centuries.
Access
All currently registered students of the RIAM, both part-time and full time can use the library and borrow materials from the collections. For more information on entitlements, check the Resources and Services section. A more detailed guide to the library, including services, entitlements and regulations may be downloaded from the attachment below.
We are happy to provide access to external users who wish to consult our collections, but would recommend that they contact us in advance.
