Tuition and Scholarship Opportunities for Full-time Programmes:
The RIAM charges tuition fees to all students for each academic year. Fees for all Irish and EU undergraduate students are regulated by the Irish government.

Tuition Fees for Year 2018-19: Irish/EU Students
1-year Access Course (pre-college foundation) €4,535
1-year Diploma in Music Teaching and Performance €6,600
Bachelor in Music Performance (Instrumental and Vocal Pathways) €3,000 per Academic Year Government Registration Charge
Bachelor in Music Composition: €3,000 per Academic Year Government Registration Charge
Master in Music Performance: €8,950 per Academic Year
Recital Artist Diploma: €6,600 per Academic Year
Doctor in Music Performance: €11,740 per Academic Year

1-year Access Course (pre-college foundation) €9,840
1-year Diploma in Music Teaching and Performance €14,342
Bachelor in Music Performance (instrumental and Vocal Pathways) €17,795 per Academic Year
Bachelor in Music Composition: €17,795 per Academic Year
Master in Music Performance: €19,450 per Academic Year
Recital Artist Diploma: €14,342 per Academic Year
Doctor in Music Performance: €21,745 per Academic Year

Erasmus+
Erasmus+ will offer students affordable loans to take a master’s degree in another country. This is a new initiative for which a phased roll-out is expected to start in summer 2014. To be eligible to apply for a loan, you must be a resident of one of the 28 EU Member States or one of the five non-EU Programme Countries.

Scholarships and Assistantships
Student scholarships and faculty assistant positions can be awarded up to a maximum of 50% off tuition fees. Such scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis and are based on the quality of the candidate’s performance and interview at audition time.

Fees for 2019/20 entry will be published when they are confirmed by the Finance Committee in Autumn 2018.
