Grace Period FAQ

With over 120 years experience in examining, the Royal Irish Academy of Music is highly regarded as an examining body both at home and abroad.

The Local Centre Examination System, which examines over 40,000 students annually, offers a logical progression in most classical musical disciplines, as well as speech and drama for students and teachers alike. (For details on our exam statistics see HERE)

Diplomas of Associate and Licentiate in both Teaching and Performance are a natural conclusion for many students who have travelled up through the Local Centre Examination system.

If you would like to submit some of your own works for inclusion in the Local Centre Piano Albums (Elementary to Grade V), please refer to this Invitation for details.
