Performing Groups
Under the directorship of the National Symphony Orchestra's Principal Percussionist, Richard O'Donnell, the RIAM Percussion Ensemble is one of Ireland's leading exponents of music for the medium.
It has a strong commitment to presenting contemporary music to a wide audience in venues from Dublin's National Concert Hall to The Helix, as well as other leading venues around the country. The Ensemble has also broadcast on lyric fm.
In addition to an annual exchange programme with the Brooklyn College of Music in New York, the Ensemble has also travelled to Spain and South America to participate in international music festivals. Future plans include a return visit to New York and a series of concerts at The Helix in Dublin.
