For 6th-year students who have completed their studies on the higher level Leaving Certificate Music course Set A, this is a complete revision course looking at all aspects of the two written papers over the course of the two days.
RIAM Leaving Cert expert and award-winning lecturer, Kim Fallen Bailey, reveals the mysteries of the Composition and Listening papers, including:
- Set works
- Unprepared listening test
- Irish music
- Melody writing
- Harmony and counterpoint
Participants will receive a detailed revision handbook, lots of information, advice, exam hints, and plenty of supportive discussions.
Items such as notes, audio files, and past papers will be shared ahead of time and must be downloaded in advance of the course. Much of this course will be answering questions on worksheets based on past exam questions and therefore it would be best to have it in printed format.
