Fintan Sutton

Fintan studied clarinet and saxophone at the Royal Academy of Music in London before returning to Ireland in 1987 to take up the position of clarinet/bass clarinet with the R.T.E. National Symphony Orchestra.

In 1997 he commenced teaching at the R.I.A.M.His students have won numerous awards and prizes, in addition to scholarships to such prestigious third level institutions as Berkeley College of Music in the U.S.A.

Fintan has a very keen interest in contemporary music and works with composition students at N.U.I. Maynooth and Trinity College
