Education Agents

Soo Jung Ann, Korean pianist

Education agents play an important role in the recruitment of international students. An education recruitment agent makes it easy for you to submit your application, accept your offer, apply for a student visa, and prepare for international student life.

It is important for international students to use a RIAM-registered recruitment agent as they are approved by RIAM to offer you professional and reliable advice.

International students can also apply directly to the Royal Irish Academy of Music.

RIAM Trusted Agents

RIAM works with the following education recruitment agents who will also provide advice on studying with RIAM.

Agent Counselling Services Include:

  • Advice on course selection
  • Brochures and essential documents
  • Country and city information
  • Assistance with application forms
  • Visa advice

RIAM Agent Listing

RIAM maintains a panel of agencies. Agencies are appointed to the RIAM approval panel following an onboarding process and a RIAM-approved contracting process.

Partnerships with agencies are based on agent territory, agent profile, and the strategic objectives of the Royal Irish Academy of Music.

Agencies

RIAM does not appoint exclusive representatives in its markets, nor does any individual have the authority to represent themselves as the sole or senior official point of contact for the region.

Agent Marketing and Communications Guidelines

To ensure the Royal Irish Academy of Music is represented accurately and consistently across all international markets, all authorised agents are required to follow RIAM’s official marketing and communications guidelines.

These guidelines set out how RIAM should be described, how the brand and visual identity must be used, and what is and is not permitted in agent-led marketing activity. They are designed to protect both your reputation and that of the Academy, while ensuring prospective students receive clear, accurate and consistent information.

Agents must ensure that:

  • All communications are factual, evidence-based and aligned with approved RIAM messaging
  • The RIAM name, logo and brand elements are used correctly and consistently
  • No misleading claims are made regarding admissions, scholarships or outcomes
  • Any co-branded or original marketing materials receive prior approval where required
