By coming on board as a RIAM Friend or Transformational Patron, you can help our dedicated students realise their true potential and help us increase access to music education in Ireland.
As an Individual Supporter of RIAM you help us to create more opportunities for our talented and committed students. Your support will make a significant impact by making music education more accessible, supporting the musical and personal development of all our students, and helping many of them grow into fully professional artists.
In return, not only will you receive a range of benefits with exciting and unique opportunities to engage with our concerts and programmes, you will also contribute to and witness our young artists’ journeys through inspiring performances and musical projects that challenge and entertain.
There are two ways in which you can play your part as an Individual Supporter:
1. RIAM Friends
2. RIAM Transformational Patrons
Become a RIAM Friend
The support of our RIAM Friends makes a tangible difference every day with all gifts going directly to our Student Scholarship Fund. This allows student musicians in real need of financial aid to focus on their training without the worry and burden of unmanageable costs.
For many students the costs of accommodation, travel, living expenses and tuition build up to such a level that full-time musical study becomes an impossibility. Conservatoires across the world lose new students every year for this reason.
RIAM’s Scholarship Fund helps to ensure fair access for all to unparalleled music performance education across the island. Scholarships are awarded according to assessment of financial need and artistic potential, with funds spread across Junior RIAM, Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes.
We invite you to join us by becoming a RIAM Friend at one of the following levels:
- Dolce Friend €125 p/a
- Cantabile Friend €300 p/a
- Vivace Friend €500 p/a
- Brilliante Friend €1,000 p/a
