Open Day 2022

#IamRIAM

The RIAM provides an individually tailored music education in the heart of Dublin, with the most one-to-one tutor hours of any music conservatory in Europe and unparalleled performance opportunities. Future colleagues enjoyed a tour of our new campus, meeting current students, Director Deborah Kelleher and Heads of Faculties, and learning more about studying at RIAM in November.

If you could not make it to RIAM for our in-person open day, our Heads of Faculties will be hosting online Q&A sessions on Zoom to tell you more about RIAM and to answer any questions you might have about applying to or studying at RIAM. Register below to receive your zoom link by email. Choose from a midday or evening session by clicking on the dates below. All times are GMT Irish time.

Open Day 2021

#RIAMLive #IamRIAM

The Royal Irish Academy of Music is home to many of Ireland’s finest musicians, industry leaders, and teachers. RIAM is also home to hundreds of ambitious students on a clear pathway to becoming professional performers, composers, conductors, educators, and administrators.

The RIAM Open Day for students interested in starting their studies from September 2022 or 2023 took place on Friday 8 October 2021, 4:00 p.m. We have included recordings of the day below.

Future RIAM students got to meet our teaching staff, hear from alumni who have gone on to enjoy successful careers, and interact with our amazing current students in this informative and enjoyable session.

We are a national conservatoire that takes great pride in knowing our students individually and nurturing them in the kind of music career that they wish to achieve.
