The Whyte Recital Hall played host to the Blackwater Vallery Opera Festival (BVOF), Royal Irish Academy of Music and John Pollard Foundation bursaries concert on Tuesday, 17 September.

Massive congratulations to all the performers on the evening: Carolyn Holt, Amy Ní Fhearraigh, Gavan Ring, Rory Lynch, Sean Tester, Patrick Hyland, Dearhbla Collins, Ella Nagy, Savannah Hilterbrandt, and Remi Ludick.

Huge thanks to Michael Alen-Buckley, Patrick Howett, Eamonn Carroll, Tara McKeown, and everyone at the BVOF for their hard work, dedication and hospitality.

The concert celebrated the unique collaboration between BVOF and RIAM, supporting young, emerging artists in Ireland through bursaries. A special mention BVOF artistic director, Dieter Kaegi, for curating a wonderful programme. It was also a perfect opportunity to thank both RIAM Friends, Supporters and BVOF supporters, both long-standing and new. This was no ordinary concert; it was a celebration of emerging talent, a showcase of Ireland’s brightest young stars, and a reaffirmation of the enduring partnership between BVOF and RIAM.

This exceptional partnership between BVOF and RIAM has become a vital pillar in supporting young, emerging artists in Ireland through generous bursaries. The success of these bursaries is made possible by the support of key sponsors and donors, whose dedication to the transformative impact of music has brought them to life.

Here’s to cultivating talent, inspiring creativity, and creating unforgettable musical experiences for future generations.
