Inspiring Futures Seat Campaign Reaches Midpoint Milestone
RIAM is in celebration mode with the news that our Inspiring Futures Seat Campaign has recently reached an important milestone. 50% of the seats in the new RIAM recital hall have been sponsored by individuals with a personalised seat inscription to last the lifetime of the hall.
The 300-seat recital hall will open in 2022 to provide a state-of-the-art performance space for 21st century music students, professionals, academics and audiences.
RIAM is currently transforming its campus into a world-class conservatoire, doubling the size of the existing campus to provide a purpose-built environment where music education, talent, standards and training can thrive, befitting the innovation and energy of its faculty, staff and students. At the centre of the redevelopment, the recital hall will be a space for musicians of all ages to step on stage and perfect their skills in front of family and friends – a place where tomorrow’s leading performers will showcase their talents and where we will all share unforgettable experiences. RIAM is looking forward to a bright future for music in Ireland.
The new 300-seat RIAM recital hall will feature:
- Highest quality materials and finishes
- Professional standard acoustics
- Five high definition cameras for livestreaming events
- Fully accessible, inclusive and welcoming
