
Taking place this Wednesday Feb 12 in the Whyte Recital Hall, the fantastic RIAM Chrorale will be performing. Described by the composer to a friend as “excessively joyful”, Brahms Zigeunerlieder (Gypsy Songs) is performed alongside a selection of folk songs by Bartók and choral works by the trailblazing American composer, Florence Price, and Errolyn Wallen’s evocative Inherit the World, a specially commissioned song for the climate change conference, COP 26, 2021.
