RIAM student wins Irish Freemasons Musician of the year 2016

We send our congratulations to Bachelor in Music Performance graduate, Christopher Moriarty Pearson, who won the prestigious Irish Freemasons Musician of the Year Competition 2016 on 8th October. The competition invites four nominations from each of Ireland's music conservatoires. Out of a semi-final group of 15, three of the four finalists were RIAM students. In second place was RIAM Master in Music Performance graduate percussionist, Joseph Whelan, and in third place came year 3 Bachelor student flautist, Amy Gillen.
