RIAM Students selected for the Eversheds Accelerator Academy Programme

RTÉ Nationwide: The RIAM Students selected to participate in Eversheds Sutherland Accelerator Programme

Published: 17th Feb, 2020

In September 2019, the Royal Irish Academy of Music and Eversheds Sutherland were thrilled to announce that four talented young RIAM musicians were to become the newest members of the Eversheds Sutherland Accelerator Academy, established to help support high level musicians in reaching their full potential and learning to develop a sustainable career.

Over the course of two years, the promising young musicians selected for the programme—pianist Dida Condria, cellist Catherine Cotter, and violinists Julieanne Forrest and Claire O'Connor—benefit from career coaching, financial support for travelling to masterclasses and competitions, training in media and public speaking, 'off stage' work placement opportunities, and mentorship with RIAM Alumnus, renowned concert pianist, and ambassador for the programme, Finghin Collins.

Tune in to the RTÉ Nationwide episode from Monday 17th February to hear from these enormously talented young musicians on their experience as leading students in the RIAM Junior Division.
