
Following the inaugural Wigmore Festival at RIAM in 2023, we are delighted to announce a further performance partnership with Wigmore Hall, one of the world’s great concert halls, specialising in chamber and instrumental music, early music and song.
Devised by John Gilhooly CBE, Artistic and Executive Director of this iconic concert hall. details of the 2024/2025 Wigmore Series Dublin programme were announced at RIAM on Wednesday, May 15th by John Gilhooly and RIAM’s director, Deborah Kelleher.
A stellar roster of artists will visit RIAM from October 2024 to April 2025, including pianists Sir András Schiff and Imogen Cooper, cellist Natalie Clein, the Leonkoro Quartet, Jordi Savall and Hesperion XXI and Lieder duo, Christian Gerhaher and Gerold Huber, to perform an array of music spanning five centuries. In addition to their performances in the magnificent setting of the Whyte Recital Hall, our distinguished visiting artists will engage with RIAM students in a series of masterclasses, talks and open rehearsals.
