Pianist Thérèse Fahy receives Arts Council Music Project Award
Congratulations to RIAM Keyboard Faculty member, Thérèse Fahy, who has recently received an Arts Council Music Project Award for Ireland’s Tombeau to Debussy. Ireland's Tombeau to Debussy Festival 100 years after the death of the great French composer, Claude Debussy, pianist Thérèse Fahy, with the support of an Arts Council Music Project Award, brings an exciting Debussy Festival to Dublin's National Concert Hall. With performances of seven newly-commissioned Irish works inspired by Debussy, and of the original 1920 Tombeau de Debussy, interwoven with Debussy's own masterworks, this concert series promises to be a uniquely Irish tribute to the legacy of the great French composer.
