Dida's musical journey commenced at the age of six under the tutelage of Reamonn Keary at the RIAM Junior Academy. Her early education at RIAM laid a solid foundation, fostering her growth into a versatile and accomplished musician. Her formative years included participation in the DIPC William Finlay Programme, where she studied under the esteemed John O'Conor.

Currently, Dida is a scholarship student at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, studying with Aaron Shorr. Her accolades include being a finalist in the BBC Young Musician of the Year Competition and receiving the Swainson Prize at Feis Ceoil 2024. Her performances have graced prestigious venues worldwide, including Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, and the National Concert Hall of Ireland.

The semi-final round of the DIPC is scheduled for May 13th and 14th, 2025, at the Whyte Recital Hall in RIAM. Dida will perform a 40-minute solo recital and collaborate with the ConTempo Quartet in a piano quintet, marking the first inclusion of chamber music in the competition's history. Her performance is slated for May 14th at 19:35.

Dida's progression to the semi-finals not only highlights her personal achievements but also reflects the excellence of RIAM's Junior Academy in nurturing young talent. Her journey serves as an inspiration to aspiring musicians and a testament to the quality of music education provided by RIAM.
