
Galway conductor Sinead Hayes, who conducts the Royal Irish Academy of Music Symphony Orchestra and the Hard Rain SoloistEnsemble, has been announced as one of the conductors joining the prestigious Royal Philharmonic Society’s high level Women’s Conducting Programme in the UK from January 2024, working with the Royal Northern Sinfonia and receiving career mentorship for two years.
A graduate of the renowned conducting programme of the Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester, Sinead is looking forward to a busy 2024, where, among other concerts she will conduct the RIAM Symphony Orchestra in March in a programme including Dvorak’s Symphony No. 8.
