Angela Hewitt occupies a unique position among today’s leading pianists. With a wide-ranging repertoire and frequent appearances in recital and with major orchestras throughout Europe, Americas and Asia, she is also an award-winning recording artist whose performances of Bach have established her as one of the composer’s foremost interpreters. 

The Canadian pianist, recipient of the Wigmore Hall Gold Medal, made her début at the Hall over 40 years ago and has given well over 80 performances since. 

On the occasion of her Wigmore Series Dublin début, this charismatic pianist performs Ravel’s luminous Le Tombeau de Couperin alongside works by François Couperin, Mozart and the composer with whom she is most synonymous – JS Bach.
