Irené Sandford Award for Singers 2026

Vocal students of RIAM compete to join the roster of previous distinguished laureates including Claudia Boyle, Naomi O’Connell and Sarah Brady, in the 2026 Irené Sandford Award for Singers.  Commemorating this much-loved singer and former Head of Vocal Studies at the RIAM, the award of €3,000 is generously donated by her husband, Billy Reid.
