The compelling partnership of soprano Nardus Williams and lutenist Elizabeth Kenny comes to Wigmore Series Dublin with From Suir to Shore: A Journey in Song from Ireland to Venice, an evocative programme with a nod to Ireland. 

Individually, both artists enjoy flourishing international careers. Williams is admired for the warmth and clarity of her singing across opera, concert and recital repertoire, while Kenny is one of today’s leading lutenists, known for her work as a soloist, chamber musician and artistic director. 

Together, they have performed at Wigmore Hall, Leeds Song, Brighton Early Music Festival, Banbury Early Music Festival, LIFE Victoria Barcelona, Spitalfields Music at the Tower of London, and Cambridge Music Festival. 

Their Wigmore Series Dublin programme moves from Ireland and England through Spain, France and Germany before arriving in Venice, with works by William Byrd, John Dowland, Henry Purcell, Claudio Monteverdi, Maddalena Casulana and Barbara Strozzi.
