No stranger to Irish audiences, Paul Lewis is internationally regarded as one of the leading pianists of his generation. His cycles of core piano works by Beethoven and Schubert have received critical and public acclaim worldwide, securing his reputation as one of the foremost interpreters of the central European classical repertoire and earning him a devoted international following. 

Often focusing on specific composers in projects that allow him to take audiences deep inside the works, throughout 2026 and 2027, this acclaimed artist will tour his Mozart+ series around the world juxtaposing Mozart with composers such as Poulenc, Chopin and Weber. 

For Wigmore Series Dublin, Lewis places two Mozart sonatas alongside works by Schubert and Chopin. The programme draws attention to Mozart’s influence on later generations, while also setting his music beside works that share its clarity, lyricism and expressive depth.
