Trevor Pinnock at 80 with The English Concert

We are proud to join forces with The English Concert to celebrate the 80th birthday of Trevor Pinnock, the world-renowned harpsichordist, conductor and founder of this pioneering ensemble.  We are equally proud to present the Irish début of The English Concert whose trademark dynamism and ground-breaking performances on period instruments led to an extensive contract with Deutsche Grammophon and a global reputation for highly compelling performances and artistic partnerships.

The trumpets and drums of JS Bach’s Third Orchestral Suite supply the final festive flourish to an evening of musical and personal delights given in honour of one of Britain’s finest musicians in the company of his infectious musical colleagues and cellist Nicolas Altstaedt, one of the most versatile and sought-after artists today.
